AfroMillionsLotto Launches in Cameroon With Over 2.3 Billion Franc Jackpot to Support Cameroon Children’s Charity

AfroMillionsLotto, a new online lotto offering the biggest jackpot in Africa, launches today throughout Cameroon. For every lotto ticket sold, a donation will be made to United Action for Children – a Cameroon charity giving children living in marginalised communities access to quality education and training.

People aged 18 or over can visit uac.afromillionslotto.com to buy a lotto ticket, giving them the opportunity to win a jackpot of more than 2.3 billion Francs. The charity lotto features a twice-weekly draw offering life-changing prizes whilst also donating money to worthy causes across the Continent.

Commenting on the fundraising lotto, United Action for Children’s CEO, Martha Etawuh said:

“Our charity is about empowering children through quality of education to ensure a better and sustainable future. This funding through AfroMillionsLotto will make the difference to us we have been dreaming about.”

The first uac.afromillionslotto.com draw will take place on Wednesday 15th November. If no-one wins the jackpot, the prize money increases with each draw until it reaches a maximum of over 3 billion Francs. There are also nine, ‘Candy Crush’ style, Instant Win games on the website, which can be played for fun or to win cash prizes – a percentage of which will also be donated to the charity.

If you’d like to support Cameroon children and the work of United Action for Children, visit uac.afromillionslotto.com – not only will you have the chance to win a life-changing jackpot, you’ll also be giving a charity much-needed funding.

About United Action for Children

United Action for Children (UAC) was founded in 1996 and registered in 1998 under the Cameroon’s 1990 law on Associations (registration No. 557/G37/014/1/VO4/T/T/OAPP ) as a non-profit community based organisation engaged in Grooming Little Minds for a Big Future and developing a caring and sustaining society for children and young people through innovative programmes.

The overall goal of UAC is to contribute to the improvement of living conditions of key affected populations (Deprived People) such as orphans, street children, youth and young girls, drug users, teenagers, women and sex workers, in rural and urban areas.

We achieve this through four main program areas: Education, Health, Sports and Economic empowerment of communities to ensure the effective growth and development of children.

How the United Action for Children lotto works

After selecting setting up an account at uac.afromillionslotto.com  anyone over the age of 18 can deposit money using their credit or debit card or e-wallet.

You then choose a line of six numbers ranging from 1 – 49 and an additional bonus number between 01 – 9 before buying a ticket costing 0.60 Euros (€) (approx. 394 Francs). The winning numbers are based on the twice-weekly German National Lottery draw, which can be viewed live on German television on Wednesday and Saturday evenings.

Jackpots and prizes will be displayed at uac.afromillionslotto.com

together with the prizes for correctly predicting 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2 matching numbers. The minimum jackpot starts at 2,500,000 Euros (€) (more than 2.3 billion Francs) and rolls over by approx. 250,000 Euros (€) each time it’s not won until it reaches a maximum of 5,000,000 Euros (€).

Why Euros?

The United Action for Children AfroMillionsLotto sells tickets and displays jackpots in Euros (€) because it’s the currency of choice for the lottery industry. However, people pay to play in Francs and when they win, they'll withdraw money in Francs too. By promoting the United Action for Children AfroMillionsLotto in Euros (€), we can offer the biggest jackpots in Africa. It's as simple as that.
