Newly promoted club Stade Renard of Melong has brought in two experienced players into their squad. Olivier Kouoh Dicka who was scarcely used in New Stars last season is now with Stade Renard meanwhile, Baba Basile who was playing with Union Sportif of Oyem in Gabon has returned home to play with Stade Renard.
The ex New Stars player signed a one year contract. Elsewhere, the list of players leaving Union to rival side New stars continues to increase. The latest to leave Union is 28-year Michel Nack Bolokog. The midfield maestro didn't spend up to a season with Union. The new league one season starts on January 21,2017.
