In CPDM Cameroon, the visit of a distinguished foreign personality often benefits some communities. During the visit of French Francois Hollande, Cameroonians saw the rehabilitation of roads in some parts of Yaounde including the road that links the nation's capital to the Nsimalen International airport. This time around, it is the population of Mbalmayo, in the Nyong and So'o Division in the Center Region approximately some 50 minutes from Yaoundé, that have profited from the visit of the Italian Head of State President Sergio Mattarella.
Because Mr Sergio was to traveled on Saturday for a visit to Mbalmayo to view the works of COE (Centro Orientamento Educatico) -an Italian NGO working in the area since 1960, the CPDM regime ordered the immediate tarring of the bad road linking Yaounde and Mbalmayo-a highway that has claimed the lives of hundreds of innocent Cameroonian citizens. The Italian chief executive arrived Yaounde on Thursday 17 March and has left today Sunday. His visit resulted in the signing of five cooperation agreements between Cameroon and Italy. Let many EU leaders come visiting.
