Cameroonian diplomats refuse to report at their new posts
Some Cameroonian authorities who used to work in the Cameroon embassy in the United States of America, have refused to com back to the country and commence duty at their new posts.
Gervais Bindzi, a former diplomat at the Cameroon embassy in the United States of America, who was recently appointed at the Ministry of External relations in Douala, and Omar Chimoun appointed Director of American affairs at the Ministry of External relations, are still in the United states, months after news of their appointments.
Information about their return to Cameroon was received by Camerooonian community outside the country wiith so much joy.
The reason for the excitement was due the bad behaviour they were known to have. Cameroon concord learned that they misbehaved in quarters, caring less about the reputation they were painting of the country they represented in that part of the globe.
Their actions bring up a series of questions like, why are they still spending extra time in the United States, whereas they ought to have come to Cameroon and responded present at their new posts? How has the Ministry of external relations been functioning all this while at the level of those posts? What type of work are they doing back at the embassy in the United States late at night and during the weekends.
