She was involved in the Tiko ghastly car accident that Cameroon Concord reported via its breaking news feed. Born on April 23, 1974, the 41 year old had her car crushed by the truck that reportedly had a brake failure descending the Likomba Hill.
Mebune Mbinze is one out of five persons who died in the road accident late Tuesday just a few meters away from the Likomba Bridge. The bodies of the five dead have been deposited at the Tiko hospital mortuary.Fifteen others who sustained injuries are being attended to in different hospitals across the Region. Locals told Cameroon Concord that this accident is similar to the 1998 timber truck accident that saw scores dead as well as the February 6, 2012 incident.
