Niat Njifenji arrived back in Cameroon on Sunday, March 17, 2024, with the intention of participating in the ongoing parliamentary session. However, due to his undisclosed illness, he will be unable to fulfill this duty.
The 89-year-old politician had previously spent nearly three months hospitalized in France. This latest hospitalization raises questions about his health and ability to fulfill his duties as Senate President.
