Peace Is Possible: Conflict in Cameroon
Peace is not just absence of conflict, but the prevalence of justice. It is about hope, opportunity, and dignity. It is the ability to differ in culture and yet be united in purpose.
Cameroon has seen extended conflict and everyday we hear calls for peace. The reality is that peace does not happen by magic or decree or by ceasefire alone for that matter. Peace happens when actors decide to make peace the common goal. It happens when peace builders take action in communities to bring hope, opportunity and dignity to the lives of people.
This week we are dedicating the I Am Cameroon Saturday Show to the builders who are working to bring hope to the many in great despair.
Join us as we share thoughts on the various paths toward attaining peace in Cameroon.
