Lady Ponce assists orphans

The equipment comprising food items, soap and school needs were donated to the “Fondation FACT” in Yaounde on Saturday March 21, 2015. Lady Ponce, famous Bikutsi star, donated some equipment to orphans of the “Fondation FACT” in Esssos Yaounde on Saturday March 21, 2015.  The equipment comprising food items, exercise books, pencils, rulers, soap and other hygiene equipment were handed over to the officials of the orphanage.

Speaking at the occasion the Director of the “Fondation FACT”, Albert Atangana on behalf of the staff of the orphanage thanked the artist for the kind gesture. He said Lady Ponce came to assist them in their mission of helping children. He further said Lady Ponce was in the orphanage last year and hopefully still come back next year. He thanked Lady Ponce not only for the equipment she donated but also for the love and affection of a mother that she brought to the children.

On her part, Lady Ponce said the donation was to make the children know that there are people out there who think of them. She used the occasion to call on the public to visit the children often since what they need most is their presence and love. The used songs and dance as a way of showing gratitude to Lady Ponce. They “Fondation FACT” have 44 children aged between 4 and 17 years. Out of the number two are from Chad and one from Nigeria.
