Turkish President Recep Tayyib Erdogan cut short his Africa trip on Tuesday following the death of his security chief in Senegal.
Hayrettin Eren reportedly died from a heart attack during the inauguration of Senegal’s Olympic Stadium attended by President Erdogan.
Local media in Senegal say Mr Erdogan was supposed to proceed to Guinea Bissau but he has now cancelled that and will be returning home.
