Do you know why I love my country?
Our army is so populous;
Three metres in Yaounde and you stumble on a man in uniform.
Do you know why I adore my country?
We battle at table with flies
We eat beside semi-toilet trash cans
We find the smell of rubbish sweet and aromatic.
I love my country because we love experience
Our father has gathered experience for over 34 years now.
I love my county because strike actions bring change.
I love my nation because our president can climb a mountain.
You should love my country, too
We have had only two presidents since independence
Our presidency hates promiscuity or president prostitution
So we have only two presidents; that’s a sign of fidelity and perfection
We have a very populous government.
We love to conceal truth and reveal falsehood
We love change.
Why would I not love my country?
