Unveiling Tomorrow's Cameroon Through Today's News

Breaking

Paul Atanga Nji, Cameroon's Minister of Territorial Administration has told the Fons of the North West Region to stop complaining about upheavals in the Anglophone Regions of Cameroon.

According to him, this is the time for them to rather pay their allegiance to President Paul Biya, whom they crowned as the Fon of Fons some years ago.

Minister Atanga Nji was speaking at the North West Governor's Office in Bamenda recently, during his maiden visit to the Northwest Region, after his appointment on March 2 by President Paul Biya as the country's new Minister of Territorial Administration.

Going by him, Cameroon is today more than ever before, one and indivisible.

He urged all to cultivate an attitude of peace and the love of living together.

Atanga Nji told the population that Biya has sent him with a message of thanks to the North West population for demonstrating the spirit of peace amidst turbulence.

He lauded the efforts of the Governor and the forces of law and order for containing the political turbulence in the Region. He pledged is total support for them whenever they need his assistance.

To the custodians of the culture and tradition of the North West people, Atanga Nji urged them to mobilise their subjects and give maximum support to the Head of State.

He equally beseeched them to sensitise their subjects and encouraged them to work in synergy with the President to bring about lasting solution to the Anglophone Crisis, a Crisis which he, Atanga Nji, had earlier refuted its existence.
