Eto’o’s FECAFOOT Commitment: Modernizing Cameroon’s Football Infrastructure
Samuel Eto'o is determined to organize the best football championship during his tenure at the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT). This assurance was given by Jean-Marie Nkoussa, the head of the communications department at FECAFOOT, during an appearance on a private television channel earlier this month.

On November 16, while opening the General Assembly of the Cameroon Football Federation in Mbankomo, the president of FECAFOOT reiterated his commitment to this goal. To take the first step, FECAFOOT has worked closely with the National Office for Sports Infrastructure and Equipment (ONIES) to ensure that matches in the professional championship are now played in stadiums worthy of the occasion.
"I thank ONIES for sending us the invoices for the stadiums, because we requested annual billing for this championship to avoid misunderstandings between our two institutions. We will proceed with the payments so that football can be played in proper stadiums, and together, we can fill these stadiums to cheer on our brothers and sisters," said Samuel Eto’o.
This initiative is part of Eto'o's broader vision to elevate the standards of Cameroonian football, ensuring that the infrastructure supports the growth of the sport and enhances the experience for players and fans alike.
