AFRICAN CUP OF NATIONS QUALIFIERS 2023 : ECHOES OF THE DEN

After a very tight draw against Namibia at the Ahmadou Ahidjo omnisports stadium, the Indomitable Lions returned to their lair in the early hours of March 25, 2023, at 1:15 a.m. to be more precise. After the disappointment of the two points they left at home against the “brave warriors”, Rigobert Song and his men get back to work this evening between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on the playground of the MUNDI multisports complex, for the only training session of the day, 72 hours before the return match against Namibia in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Earlier in the day, Vincent Aboubakar and his teammates will have a sequence of dedications with the children and a shooting operation of one of their partner, Tangui in this case. On the state of health of Christopher Wooh released on injury in the 44th minute of the match, then rushed to the General Hospital in Yaoundé, the news is reassuring. He remained under observation after receiving a few stitches in his upper lip which was damaged during the action which caused his misadventure. He should find the team this Saturday to better recover in peace.
