John Bosco Nchindo Joins Coton Sport After Europe Trials
Cameroonian midfielder John Bosco Nchindo is set to officially join Coton Sport de Garoua after unsuccessful trial spells in Europe. The former captain of Yong Sport Academy (YOSA) of Bamenda will be unveiled as a Cotonsport player on Saturday, having agreed to a deal before the transfer deadline.

Nchindo’s return to Cameroon marks a fresh start for the promising playmaker, who aims to revive his career domestically after several failed trials abroad, including with Austria Vienna in the Austrian top division. Despite these setbacks, his recent performances have cemented his reputation as a rising star in Cameroonian football.
A New Chapter with Coton Sport
Following an impressive season with YOSA, where he emerged as the top scorer during the Playoffs Up in Douala, Nchindo is now eager to make his mark at Coton Sport, one of the most decorated clubs in Elite One. Although YOSA did not win the league, his personal achievements and leadership earned him significant recognition.
His efforts did not go unnoticed by national selectors, with Marc Brys recently calling him up to represent the Indomitable Lions during their June fixtures.
Nchindo’s move to Coton Sport provides an opportunity to not only re-establish himself but also contribute to one of Cameroon’s most successful football institutions. Many football pundits already see him as a future Cameroonian Ballon d’Or contender, and expectations are high as he joins the ranks of a club known for nurturing talent and competing at the highest level in African football.
