According to the Sun, Barcelona midfielder Alex Song could be headed for a move to Crystal Palace this summer.
Song is in his second season on loan to West Ham, but hasn't been a part of Slaven Bilic's plans at the Boleyn Ground this campaign. Palace could be extra motivated by the rumoured £4 million cut-rate price tag for the 28-year-old.
Song, who has never delivered on the potential that saw him move from Arsenal to Barca in 2012 for £15m, has a clause in his contract that would allow the Hammers to sign him permanently. The report says he's been informed the club won't exercise that option.
A Palace move for Song would also necessitate that the Cameroon international take a pay-cut from his current wage package of £80,000 per week at Upton Park.

Deportivo La Coruna 0 Barcelona 8: Barcelona restated their title ambitions by thrashing Deportivo La Coruna 8-0 away from home, with Luis Suarez scoring four times and contributing three assists as they showed no mercy.
The Uruguayan scored twice in the first half and Ivan Rakitic grabbed the third early in the second half, before Suarez quickly doubled his tally. Lionel Messi had provided two assists for Suarez and finally got on the scoresheet by tapping home after a brilliant move by the Uruguayan, while defender Marc Bartra scored a brilliant individual goal before Neymar rounded off the scoring to end his goal drought.
“It’s not easy to win these games. The important thing is our fate is in our hands,” said four-goal hero Suarez.
Manager Luis Enrique was delighted as his side steadied the ship, after a dire run of recent form saw the Catalans crash out of the Champions League to rivals Atletico, while they also saw their lead in La Liga disappear.

A delegation from the Japanese football federation is currently in Cameroon to explore ways of assisting Cameroon in the domain of feminine football. The delegation headed by the Associate Director of International Affairs, Matsunaga Takashi, yesterday April 19, 2016 jointly granted a press conference with the president of Fecafoot, Tombi A Roko, at the seat of the federation in Yaounde in the presence of the Japanese Ambassador to Cameroon, Kunio Okamura.
Speaking during the press conference, Matsunaga Takashi said they were surprised when Cameroon sought Japan’s assistance in the domain of football since in Japan, Cameroon is known as a great football country. The Associate Director of the International Relations Department of the Japanese Football Association said during their three-day stay in Cameroon, they will be organizing training seminars for feminine football coaches, visit the infrastructure as well as watch the match between Green City and Canon counting for the third day of play of the feminine football championship before deciding in what domains they can be of assistance to Cameroon.
