Yaounde: Missing Man Identified by Family!
YAOUNDE, Cameroon - March 15, 2024 - In a positive turn of events, the young man found deceased near the Mvog Betsi poultry farm on January 18, 2024, has been identified by his family.
The Central Police Station No. 3 in Yaounde previously issued a public plea for assistance after all their initial efforts to identify the man proved unsuccessful.
Family Reaches Out After Public Appeal
Thankfully, following the publication of the public service announcement, the family of the deceased contacted the police station. They revealed they had been searching for their son for two long months, completely unaware of his whereabouts.
Authorities Offer Condolences
The Yaounde Police Department extends its sincerest condolences to the family during this difficult time. While the cause of death remains under investigation, the identification brings a measure of closure to this case.
