Bamenda:Kidnapped baby returned to parents
The baby whose name we got as Daniel was kidnaped on 13th September 2016 after a shrewd manipulation of his baby sitter by the kidnaper.
The baby sitter Collette Aza recounts that the kidnaper took the child away just at the moment she was busy preparing his food.
Having noticed that he was nowhere to be found, Collette notified the baby's parents who immediately opened up a quick search and alerted the Police of the Bamenda 3 Council.
After a thorough search in all the travelling Agencies especially the Mondial Express where the kidnaper was sure to be tracked, but the search was all in vain.
Finally another step of investigation surfaced after the kidnaper used her neigbour’s contact, demanding for ransom.
The Police immediately contacted the MTN office in Bamanda to trace the number.
The kidnaper was finally tracked at Bandjock in the Centre Region by Judicial Police in Bandjock after having been alerted by the Bamenda 3 police.
The baby who is the third born of the family was finally handed over to her parents after a thorough medical examination which was proven successful.
With smiles and relief of the traumatic tale, the baby's mother testified that the three days search was accompanied by prayers of supplication shared with many through the social media and other means of communication.
