The national chairman of the ruling CPDM party, President Biya has appointed former Environment and Forest, minister Prof. Elvis Ngolle Ngolle as coordinator of the academic department of the Cameroon Peoples Democratic Movement. The Biya decree also assigned Hon. Thomas Faustin as his deputy.

A second decision made public by the 82 years old leader today in Yaounde made Prof. Paul Célestin Ndembiyembé (Adviser to the Secretariat of the Central Committee and member of the Ad hoc Disciplinary Committee) the Secretary to the political training division.

The so called CPDM academic structure was created last April intended to serve as a political structure and capacity building for rebels within the party and newly elected official. It is under the authority of the Secretary General of the Central Committee of the CPDM.
