Branch of Vision 4 inaugurated in Bangui by Central African President
Faustin Archange Touadera, the CAR President was present during the inauguration ceremony of Vision 4 in His Country on Friday 21 July 2017, Cameroon-info:net reports.
His presence was a sign that, the Cameroonian based TV channel was welcome in his land. He decorated the personnel of the media organ with medals before it could even go operational.
According to other media outlets which are found in the locality where Vision 4 has its building, this move by the president indirectly means that, the communication sector in the Central African Republic is on a low compared to other countries.
The decision to open a branch of Vision 4 in Touadera’s country was taken in March 2017, during a meeting between its Director General Amougou Belinga and the Central African President on his first anniversary celebration as president of the Central African Republic on the 30 of March.
Vision 4 TV CAR belongs to a Cameroonian media group Anecdote. According to the Director General, this new TV Station will recruit some of its workers from that locality. Info:net further relates that, it is a Regional Television which extends right to Congo Brazzaville and they plan to make the channel available in every country where there are subscribers.
