Buea Council workers ask Ekema to pay them
Four employees of the Buea Council, where Ekema Patrick is Mayor, organised a protest on Monday morning of 17 July.
They went to the residence of the Governor of the South West Region to demand 24 months of unpaid salaries. The protesters say they are determined to go to the end of this.
“They want to see where we are going to end. We will prove to them that, we are determined to continue till we obtain what we want. It is our right, it is our money. We don’t know what we will do to send our children to school. The Mayor is building houses everywhere and changes his workers all the time” Hans Manga one of the protesters reacted to Equinox radio.
Mayor Ekema is presently in hot sauce with his fake certificate drama. All of his bad deeds seem to be pouring out in their numbers as he is struggling to come to terms with fact that he is a fraud.
