Cameroon: Building collapses on about 10 people in Dschang
A four-story building is reported to have collapsed in Foreke a Quarter in Dschang. This happened on 21 September at around 3pm.
It was raining heavily at the time, and a group of people had sought shelter under the said building. All of a sudden, the inhabitants of that area, heard a loud sound like that of an explosion.
After getting the frightful sound, the population did not just sit back. They came out but only to discover that a building had gone down to ruins in their neighbourhood.
It collapsed on the carpenters and builders, who were working on it, as well as the people who had sheltered themselves from rain.
In reaction to the incident, the Mayor of that municipality immediately sent a bulldozer to clear the site.
