Unveiling Tomorrow's Cameroon Through Today's News

Breaking

In the words of Rev. Father Sebastian Fonsah it was a great day, a red letter day, a day to remember as the mother of our Chairman and CEO, Mama Bridget Njaringi Agbaw-Ebai  celebrated 75 years of existence in this world of ours.  Welcoming the mammoth crowd at the Saint Joseph Cathedral in Mamfe, Rev. Fonsah observed that the Eucharistic celebration was a thanksgiving to God for the life of Mama Njaringi during these 75 years. The man of God said birthdays, anniversaries and jubilees are opportunities given to us to offer thanks to God. Rev. Father Fonsah further hinted that we are called to know that we can all walk this path if we walk with God.

For his part, the Chairman and CEO of Cameroon Concord group, the Right Hon. Soter Tarh Agbaw-Ebai in a soul-searching speech revealed that his mother have been a tough woman and a woman of substance, taking charge of the family during difficult times; in rain and sunshine. With Saint Paul our Chairman added "I can say that my mother has fought a good fight and run the race and she is now waiting for the prize prepared for all who have done God's Will."

Mama Briget Njaringi Agbaw-Ebai was born in 1941. She received baptism on the 14th of December 1953. This ritual was followed by her first Holy Communion on the 15th of December 1953. Mama confirmed as a Roman Catholic on the 3rd of December 1957 and got married to the late Maurice Pius Agbaw-Ebai on the 17th of February 1962. She remained a Catholic teacher until retirement because she considered teaching as a vocation not a career. Mama Briget Njaringi Agbaw-Ebai has been blessed with 8 children with two now of blessed memory.

We of this publication wish her many more years, good health and may she see her children's children to a happy Jerusalem.
