Cameroon:Former Mayor of Ouli Council Released without ransom
The Former of Ouli Municipal Council in the Mbotoro sub division, Kadey Division in the East region, Nicolas Ndoké has been freed this Wednesday October 12, 2016.
According to national media, CRTV no ransom was paid to the kidnappers who were demanding a ransom of FCFA 1, 5 Million after they kidnapped the former mayor on October 6, 2016.
The operation to liberate Nicolas Ndoké was headed by the Senior Divisional Officer for KADEY. He was kidnapped along the Toktoyo-Ouli stretch of road, a border between Cameroon and the Central African Republic where the kidnappers are suspected to have come from.
