Cameroon: Former minister of Agriculture evacuated to Europe for medical treatment now seeking a job with the IMF

Lazare Essimi Menye, former minister of Agriculture who appeared before investigators of the Special Criminal Court on the 13th and 27th of January 2015 was finally granted permission to leave the country for Europe on medical reason under police surveillance. The former IMF economist and statistician was evacuated to the American Hospital in Neuilly in France. Some reports have revealed that in the past days he has been spotted in the United States by many Cameroonians who have made public his destination. The minister now lives in 6304 Shiplett Blvd Bur. 

Essimi Menye Essimi, according to many local media reports has moved into an apartment and has applied for a position at the IMF. His medical evacuation has shaken the entire nation. Initially it was opposed by barons of the regime including a reluctant Biya. But a report from the Minister of Public Health,motivated the presidency to concerned to the medical evacuation.
