Cameroon: Four Ministers in Douala for evaluation of mercy ship mission
A delegation of four Ministers shall be in Douala today 14 September, to evaluate the activities of the Mercy ship which docked at the Douala sea port on 17 August 2017, with the main objective of helping the less privilege people of the country suffering from various health issues.
They were dispatched by the Prime Minister, as revealed by Issa Tchiroma Bakari yesterday. The interministerial delegation is made up of, the Minister of Public Health Andre Mama Fouda, Minister of Social Affairs Pauline Irene, Minister of women and the family and then the Minister of Communication.
While in Douala, the delegation will grant a press conference as from 9:30am, in the conference hall of the Laquintinie hospital. Pressmen will be given the opportunity to exchange with the Ministers.
The ship which has been in the country for close to a month now intend to spend about ten months in Cameroon. During this period they are going to be receiving patients from the ten Regions of the country.
