CAMEROON: SYNES UB SLAMS VICE CHANCELLOR FOR MALICE, BEGS BIYA TO REACT

The University of Buea Chapter of the National Union of Teachers of Higher education, SYNES-UB has strongly condemned malicious attempts by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Buea, Dr Nalova Lyonga to get some key exco members of SYNES arrested in a desperate move to paralyse the onging strike of Anglophone Teachers Trade Unions.

Meeting in Buea Thursday, the body has dismissed the declarations of Ghogumu Ad hoc Committee, accusing government of betraying the spirit of dialogue. The Head of State has also been implored to personally come out from his lengthy silence and provide sustainable solutions to the worries plaguing "West Cameroon."
