Circulation paralyzed as Truck crashes on Legendary monument

Movement at the Rond Point area in Douala is perturbed following a crash on the legendary monument of the city.  A truck loaded with empty crates ended its mad course on the monument  at about 5:30am Wednesday. The truck coming from Bonamoussadi is alleged to have had break failure when it rushed and turned over.

Motorbikes disorderly stationed around the area were hit by the angry truck leaving many injured. The wounded were rushed to the Lanquintenie hospital for medical attention, one of them who could not perceive the truck on time since he was backing the mad locomotive.

The mentally ill person who had made the base of the monument his home quickly fled the danger.  

Curious onlookers who rushed to the scene hoping for a drinking spree were disappointed when they realized the crates were not carrying bottled beer. As usual the police arrived late to control, circulation.
