Disgraced former General Manager of CAMAIR absent from the Special Criminal Court hearing today
Sama Ernest
Yves Michel Fotso former General Manager of Cameroon Airlines aka CAMAIR previously charged for alleged misappropriation of FCFA 18 billion by the CPDM government was unable to appear at the Special Criminal Court this Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Although the warrant demanding his presence at today’s hearing was signed on the 26 of December 2014 by the President of the Special Criminal Court in Yaounde Yap Abdou and transmitted to the proper authorities on the 29 of December 2014, Yves Michel Fotso was conspicuously absent in the dock of the Special Criminal court.
Cameroon Concord learnt that the Special Criminal Court under Justice Francis Moukouri performed the legal rituals and proceeded to announce the absence of the onetime Biya acolyte-Yves Michel Fotso. His advocate told the empty court room that he knew his client was going to be at today’s court session. The judge Francis Claude Moukouri then decided to move the case to the 5th of February 2015.
It is vital to include in this report that Yves Michel Fotso is the supreme culprit in the Albatross case that miraculously took former Prime Minister and Head of Government His Royal Highness Chief Inoni Ephraim to prison.
