Douala-Cameroon: Stolen Baby Re-united With Mother

A baby that was reported stolen from the Souboum District Hospital in Douala has been re-united with the mother. Police in Douala confirmed that a 25 years old lady has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of the toddler.

According to police reports, the baby snatcher claimed she was pregnant as a means to convince her distant relation boyfriend who at the moment of the crime was in Cameroon.  

In-order to realize her fairy tale, she decided to fetch the maternity wards of the nearby hospital to bring home a baby.

Her arrest came as news spread on TV stations and Radio Houses around the city which caught the attention of the boyfriend who was however suspicious of the lady.He subsequently informed the Police, which led to the arrest and recovery of the child.
