Douala: Woman throws acid on husbands concubines face
The population of the Mabanda neighbourhood in Douala was startled yesterday as one of theirs was rushed to a nearby hospital after acid was poured on her face by her sugar daddy’s wife.
Reports say the incident happened in the early hours of yesterday morning when 39 years old Ernestine, wife of the man in question paid an unannounced visit to the young girl by name Miriam; the girl she had been getting rumors that she was having a hush-hush affair with her husband.
After a fiery quarrel with Miriam, eye witnesses say Ernestine removed a container from her hand bag and splashed the content on Miriam’s face.
An angry inhabitant of Mabanda has expressed bitterness about the issue and warned against married men dating outside.
“This is Wicked that woman needs to be locked up she has no right to hurt another woman, come to think of it she should have done this to her husband’s face. Some men are liars; they can't tell the truth. Only God knows what that devil of a husband told the innocent girl. I think husbands should stay with their wives and stop chasing girls and luring them into temptation “says an angry young girl.
According to a married woman, Miriam deserves what happened to her. She says, Miriam has just paid the price.
“Pulling out her one eye would have been the best example to teach other young girls who chose to date married men. It hurts to know that your husband is cheating on you” says a mad married woman.
At the moment the whereabouts of Ernestine is yet to be known meanwhile sources say Miriam is positively responding to treatment.
