Double Homicide: Set of twins strangled by their own mother in Yaounde

The population of Etoug-ebe in Yaounde was stunned when they saw the remains of some twin children strangled by their mother.

Sources say a girl believed to be a master’s student in the University of Yaounde 2 strangled her twin children yesterday 10 May 2017. She disappeared after committing the act living behind a letter to confirm her act and promising to take her own life. In the letter she told the husband to come and take his children and that she has gone.

 Reports say the niece of this girl was in the kitchen when the act was being committed but did not notice anything. They knew about it only when the father of the twins who is a taxi driver told them that the wife called and told him she has killed the children and is going to hang herself.

The matter is presently under investigation as to find out what happened and whether the wife has really committed the suicide or she is safe and hiding somewhere.
