Family Drama-Yaounde: Journalist's Son Confesses to Double Murder
Yaounde, Cameroon - April 9, 2024 - A tragic story has taken a horrifying turn as Batek Yebel Landry, son of slain journalist Sylvie Louisette Ngo Yebel, has reportedly confessed to her murder. This shocking development comes amid the ongoing investigation into Yebel's brutal killing earlier this week.

According to the gendarmerie investigation, Landry admitted to killing his mother following an argument at their home in the Damascus district of Yaounde. He claims to have suffocated her and then dismembered her body with a hacksaw in the shower.

Landry further confessed to transporting the body parts in suitcases with the help of his friend, Lonti Junior, who remains at large. They allegedly disposed of the remains in a stream near their residence.
