FIFA Interim President gets hero's welcome in Yaounde

After chairing the Zurich working session as FIFA interim president our Issa Hayatou returned home on Saturday, October 31, 2015. Hayatou got a hero's welcome at the Nsimalen International Airport as a mammoth crowd including senior Cameroon government officials: Pierre Ishmael Bidoung Mkpatt, the Minister of Sports and Physical Education and Tombi A Roko, President of the Cameroon Football Federation were all present to receive him.

The Cameroon Football Federation and the Ministry of sports are organizing a special ceremony to honour him today Monday, November 2, 2015, at the Yaounde Sports Palace. President of the African Football Confederation for 27 years, Issa Hayatou was chosen to lead FIFA for a transitional period of at least five months with the main mission- to get Sepp Blatter's replacement.
