Unveiling Tomorrow's Cameroon Through Today's News

Breaking

The Haut-Nkam Cultural and Development Association(NUFI Canada) that was formed in 2003 to foster the unity and development of Cameroonians from Haut-Nkam Division resident in Canada  is now recognizing the relentless efforts of other Cameroonian associations and individuals who are effecting social change in the various Cameroonian communities in Canada.  Speaking during the launching of the NUFI Canada Community Achievement Award which held recently, Dr. Alex Tcheuyap of the University of Toronto, said for any dynamic community to move forward, some individuals or groups must be in a position to champion its course. Dr. Tcheuyap emphasized that due to the diversity and complexity of the Cameroonian community in Canada, “it is just fair that those who not only champion Cameroonian community activities but work tirelessly to foster the unity of Cameroonians in Toronto and beyond should henceforth be acknowledged”.  The leadership of the Haute-Nkam association told Cameroon Concord that their annual award ceremony has come to stay. We of this publication are proud to announce to our readers that the head of our Canada bureau Gabriel Tambe Takang was among the recipients of the NUFI Canada Community Achievement Award.
