The quest for the restoration of the statehood of the Republic of Ambazonia picked up momentum. Ghana's former revolutionary leader JJ Rawlings warmly welcome talks with a delegation during a diplomatic endeavour in Ghana headed by HE HRH Fon Fongum Gorji-Dinka of the Republic of Ambazonia. Both men were born on tbe 22nd of June. Both men the dream of Kwame Kruma to liberate Africa, especially their respective countries.

In 1992 the proclamation of the Bamenda High Court Judgment HCB 28/92 formalized the restoration of the statehood of the Republic of Ambazonia with a government and a head of state, HE Fon Fongum Gorji-Dinka, the head of the revolution and the architect of the name Ambazonia.
