Muhamadu Buhari, the president of Nigeria has affirmed his support to Paul Biya, concerning the Anglophone crisis.

As reports from Cameroon-info.net, quoting Anecdote indicate, the two presidents were recently on phone, and got to discuss about the situation in the two English speaking Regions in Cameroon. In their conversation the Nigerian leader said he will support Biyia to fight against those who are trying to destabilize the country.

Buhari is reported to have assured Biya to feel free to send his troops across the border, anytime when there might be need for that.

The crisis in the Southern Cameroons has become more than the La Republic leaders estimated. Military men are being killed in spite of the tight security measures that have been taken.

Recent killings in the Southwest Region, led to a conference of  top military officials in the country on 1st December 2017. During this meeting, a strategy was adopted to counter the security threats the members of the armed forces are facing in the two English speaking Regions of Cameroon.
