Buhari is reported to have assured Biya to feel free to send his troops across the border, anytime when there might be need for that.
The crisis in the Southern Cameroons has become more than the La Republic leaders estimated. Military men are being killed in spite of the tight security measures that have been taken.
Recent killings in the Southwest Region, led to a conference of top military officials in the country on 1st December 2017. During this meeting, a strategy was adopted to counter the security threats the members of the armed forces are facing in the two English speaking Regions of Cameroon.
