Unveiling Tomorrow's Cameroon Through Today's News

Breaking

The style of communication that Paul Biya has adopted when faced with breaking situations in Cameroon,  calls for concern.

Just like like it has always been in the case of Boko Haram attacks, as well as when the Eseka incident occurred, the President reacted to the killings in the Northwest and Southwest Region only when he arrived at the Yaounde Nsimalen, on his  way back from the EU-AU meeting in Abidjan.

The message which he passes on such occasions appears to be pre-prepared. It is just so solemn that one could even find a flag of the country fly behind the president as he makes his speech. Each word he says is highly calculated, as Antoine Marie Ngono made us to know.

It is a pity that a Head of State is unable to address incidents as they happen. He waits for strategic moments to react.
