Benin expels MTN General Manager
The General Manager of the South African Telecommunications company in Benin, MTN, has been given till 24 November to leave the country.
Minister of public security in Benin, Sacca Lafia, made this known in a release which he signed on 14 November.
The South African Stephen R. Blewett who has been ordered to leave Benin, was accused by the Minister of public security, of threats to public security.
After learning about the decision of the government, the MTN officials in Benin expressed their dissatisfaction with the move saying the accusations are not founded.
