Cameroon: Biya's children 'pass' entrance exam into ENAM
President Paul Biya's two children who sat the competitive entrance examination into ENAM have sailed through the written part.
The results were released on Thursday evening.
Biya Paul Junior and Biya Eyenga Elle Anasthasie Brenda are waiting for the oral part of the 2017/2018 session of the exams.
The National School of Administration and Magistracy is a prestigious institution which trains administrators and other related society builders in Cameroon.
Popular beliefs hold that it's pretty difficult to get into this institution without passing through the back door. You need 'connections'.
So did anyone expect Biya's children to fail? Of course not. Even if they were not very 'intelligent', they would still make it, given that their father is the 'central machinery of these connections'.
However, it's said that the written part of the exams is not too complicated. You just need an average of 12/20.
The real mafia only takes place during the oral session where the 'chaff is sieved from the real grains.'
Critics are now waiting for the final nail, which will certainly be ready in a few days.
