Cameroon: Fame Ndongo announces distribution of 80 thousand laptops in November
Minister of higher education, Jacques Fame Ndongo, has announced that the first 80 thousand of Biya's laptops will be distributed in November.
He was explaining over the CRTV radio that, to manufacture laptops is not a day's job.
As the Minister claimed, the different parts of the laptops are made in different companies.
"There are companies that are making solely the hard drives, others for the screens" Fame Ndongo said
He went further to add that, other countries have given the same commands, "kenya has given a command for 1 million laptops while Mexico has given theirs for 10 million laptops", the minister explained.
It was as well indicated that, the distribution will be done in instalments; first instalment of 80 thousand laptops next month November, 100 thousand in January and it will continue like that for the following months till the moment when all 500 thousand laptops will have been distributed.
