Cameroon-Mezam: SDO restricts late night movements during Christmas period
The Senior Divisional Officer of the Mezam Division in the Northwest Region, has taken a series of decisions, which he calls security measures.
According to the Communiqué which was released on Wednesday 20 December 2017, the movement of motorbikes has been prohibited between 9pm and 5am.
All on and off-licenses, are expected to respect given closing hours. Should any individual desire to operate an off-license late at night, they will have to submit an application to the competent authorities for permission, as the SDO's communiqué stipulates.
Petards, commonly called "knockouts", have equally been banned.
The Mezam Divisional head calls on every resident of that area to respect the measures he has taken.
