Cameroon: Second bridge on Wouri opened to public
The second bridge on River Wouri has been opened to the public.
According to media reports, complete access to the bridge was made on Friday.
The former bridge has been blocked temporarily for rehabilitation work.
The newly constructed bridge reportedly cost FCFA 141.6 billion.
The former bridge, it is said, will be reserved for pedestrians, motorbikes and other little vehicles.
This new bridge, whose construction spanned four years, was partially opened on October 3, 2017, though complete access was expected on October 31.
