The son of the Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralization,Gilles Christian Sadi, whose installation as the Sub Divisional officer for Kribi II some five days ago, was attacked by men of the underworld. The young administrator aged 30, who is robust and athletic saved himself during the ordeal.
The armed robber had asked him to go flat on his tummy while surrendering his money and jewelry. Just coming back from a nocturnal visit to a local bar for a drinking spree and sensing danger after being pointed with a gun loaded with seven bullets, he dashed out with sheets from his hotel room where he lodged while waiting for repair works to be done in his residence.
This surprise reflex move by the young and vibrant Sub Divisional officer forced the assailant to flee leaving behind his gun loaded with seven cartridges.
This act of aggression and armed robbery took place in the early hours of the morning around 2 am on Sunday, 22 October 2017. Today this act will resonate on his head and ears because the dangers of insecurity were highlighted during his installation as the focal point of his Administration.
