Unveiling Tomorrow's Cameroon Through Today's News

Breaking

The ambassador of the Vatican to Cameroon His Excellency Piero Pioppo, bade fare well to the President of the Republic Paul Biya on 26 October 2017.

His Lordship Pierro Pioppo has come to the end of his representation of the Vatican in Cameroon.

It was official that he had been moved to Indonesia on 8 September 2017. Yesterday, the Head of State received him at the Unity Palace, so that they could share their last moments before the apostolic Noncio leaves.

The man of God evoked the good relationship that Cameroon has had with the Vatican saying that there have been three papal visits to Cameroon so far; two by Pope John Paul II and one by pope Benedict XVI. He equally said that, Paul Biya has visited the Pope six times, thus indicating how strong the ties between Cameroon and the Vatican are.
