South African Archbishop Desmond Tutu has returned to hospital for treatment barely a  week after leaving a Cape hospital following a concentrated antibiotic treatment for a "persistent infection." The Nobel Peace Prize winner was readmitted after reporting some discomfort revealed his wife Leah. 

The daughter of Desmond Tutu, Mpho, was quoted as saying that the hospitalization of his father 83 years old was not related to treatment for his cancer. Desmond Tutu has been suffering from prostate cancer for several years now. A popular figure in the struggle against apartheid, Archbishop Tutu is noted for relentlessly being critical of the imperfections of his country and denounces regularly the failings of the ANC and Nelson Mandela's successors.
