The rumour Mill about Biya's death amplified by the CODE group
To wish for somebody's death no matter how bad that person might be is being sadistic. Code a radical group formed by some Cameroonians in the diaspora had peddled this rumour for close to one week or more.
This group of persons for vicious reasons made this story to circulate on the social media.
According to them, Biya was rushed to tp Switzerland for an urgent medical attention. It was even alleged that around the hospital where he was hospitalized, some Police officers had been positioned to thoroughly search those coming to the hospital. They equally had alleged that he left Cameroon secretly, so as to hid anything about his health situation. Unfortunately nothing about this medical tourism had been mentioned on any press release by the Director of the Civil Cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic of Cameroon. According to CODE, the presidential couple were in an intensive care unit with life support plants put in place to assist in respiration that was failing.
These allegations haven't been proven as true by any source at the Presidency or anywhere else.
The threats of Boko Haram insurgents haven't been tamed. Insurgency is an ideology and ideologies aren't fought with weapons and therefore can't be crushed using a military approach. Six people lost their lives to these savages on Sunday the 4th of January, 2018, in a locality called Hitawa in the Far North Region.
This incident was attributed to the Boko Haram insurgents as reported by security sources. The Brigadier General of the Cameroon armed forces, Jean Claude Rene Meka cautioned the soldiers to remain super vigilant and careful with their own safety while fighting this violent and dangerous band of terrorist.
