Two white South Africans who forced a black man into a coffin in court
Two white South Africans in court after forcing black man into coffin
Willem Oosthuizen and Theo Martins Jackson have been charged with assault and kidnapping following a video showing the two men forcing a black man into a coffin while threatening to put a snake and petrol inside the casket as well.
"They were accusing me of trespassing. They beat me up and forced me into the coffin," said Victor Rethabile, the victim
The two white men were remanded to prison until the postponed case date on January 25.
South Africa’s opposition party, Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) party, which campaigns for a more even distribution of wealth between white and black South Africans, led a rally outside the court.
