War Against Corruption: Former General Manager of Autonomous Port of Douala to appear before the Special Criminal Court!!
Dayas Mounoume, former General Manager of the Autonomous Port of Douala (PAD) has been summoned by the Special Criminal Court in Yaounde for alleged misappropriation of 458 million CFA francs. Information that filtered to our news desk indicated that the former General Manager has been ordered to appear together with Arsène Essomba Eloundou Lezin, Agbor Mangieb Abel, as well as Tsimi Enyegue Peter a businessman who owns While Nile Corporation.
Cameroon Concord was reliably informed that the case had long been heard and the accused was declared innocent by a court in the Littoral region. However, events seem to have taken a dramatic u turn with the Special Criminal Court now interested in the matter. The misappropriation of public funds in this Dayas Mounoume Affair dates back to the period 2008-2009. The Special Criminal Court has referred the case to March 2, 2015.
