Minister Mbella Mbella Lejeune receives 4 diplomats in Yaounde
The Minister of External Relations, Lejeune Mbella Mbella has received four diplomats at his cabinet. The American Ambassador to Cameroon, Michael Steven Hoza was the first amongst the four Diplomats who came with a message of condolence to the Republic of Cameroon over the latest double suicide attacks in the Far North Region that claimed the lives of 11 Cameroonians. He also announced the coming of the Commander of the US Forces for Africa to Cameroon who is expected to hold talks with the Minister of Defense on combating Boko Haram.
The Spanish Ambassador to Cameroon, Jorge De Orueta Pemartin,also met Minister Mbella Mbella. Both men charted on the way forward for developmental projects on, Tourism, Fishery and the Electricity sectors in Cameroon. There after was the French Ambassador, Christine Robichon who briefed Minister Mbella Mbella on preparations towards the forth coming International Conference on Climate Change to be hosted by France this 2015. She also looked at the political situation of Central African Republic and France’s contribution in the fight against terrorism in Cameroon. To this effect, the French Diplomat said some Cameroonian armed forces are currently being trained by some French forces in Garoua. Finally the Indian Honorary Consul to Cameroon Ravi Kumar came with words of congratulations to the Minister who recently took office. Discussions also focused on relation ties between Cameroon and India especially as India prepares to host the third Indian- African summit this October 26th to 30th 2015.
