Unveiling Tomorrow's Cameroon Through Today's News

Breaking

Helen Dina Essoka, Regional Head of Control Service [Police de Police] in the South West Region of Cameroon has resigned from the Police Force. In her resignation letter of 12/10/2015 to the Head of State President Biya through the Delegate General for National Security [DGNS], Mbarga Nguele, Helen Dina Essoka observed that she has had enough of the rubbish from the police hierarchy which inter alia included gross injustice, human right violation, harassment, financial stress stemming from her wrongful suspension of salary and duty without pay.

The suspension she revealed in her letter violated the basic text that created the Cameroonian police force. The Helen Dina Essoka suspension and resignation dates back to the land grabbing problem in Tiko Sub-Division in which the Governor and Regional Delegate for National Security including other senior state officials in the Sub-Division were all alleged to be part of the scam.

Cameroon Concord learned when she carried out an in-depth investigation into the constant seizure of land from the natives by highly placed CPDM officials, the Governor and the Regional Delegate for National Security framed and fabricated stories against her, all with the objective to get her fired from her duty post.

Mrs. Helen Dina ever since her suspension on June 2014, has gone without a salary and has appealed to President Biya not to only look into her case but also that of other Police officers of Anglophone extraction who have suffered a similar fate.
